Moi University is richer than you may imagine. This isn’t disputable depending on your culture. Wealth from where I come from is looked at in terms of number of cattle, your household (wives, children and workers) extent of the land you own. The larger the numbers the more respect you given as a man and the more likely you secure leadership position in the community. At least, MU posses this
We are also endorsed with vast hectare of land which till today, considerable large portion has not been utilized. The fact that this land is being put to farming benefits isn’t overlooked. At least the land near the dispensary was converted into a wheat plantation last year. Moreover it has been prepared to await start of rain down pour to resume plantation.
The beautiful waterfall, an entertainment nature point is bestowed for us-although it’s proven a death invitation point sadly reducing our wealth. This has been backed up with Kesses dam and Ngeria forest which are at a neighbourhood.
The list is long; the valuable manpower generated out of here that sway the job market. All gratitude goes to well gifted, selfless lectures .Several planes flying locally and internationally; a number of industries including Rivatex textile industry and Moi press;
It’s even perfecting the media industry by adding Kenya
Television Service (KTS) to back up Moi University station all located at main campus.
Going
internationally, the university lately stroke a deal with Israel agency to
introduce horticulture at Ngeria. This is perfect for a body that desires
progress.What more to desire from it? Slant focus towards student affairs …because anyway they are the reason the institution was established for..otherwise they will always pose as stumbling block for administrators peace: stabilise academic calendar, create peaceful environment worth living and learning; respond to their complaints earnestly trying to solve if not answering….this will prove your service to them

Really I agree with you, having over hundred thousand hecters of land is not a joke, however more has to be done to maximize the wealth
